1. Your Right to Cancel
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers purchasing online generally have the right to cancel an eligible order within 14 days of receiving their goods, without providing a reason.
To exercise this right, please email info@stylishlondonlife.com within the cancellation period, clearly stating your intention to cancel.
Please include your order number and contact details to help us identify your purchase. You are not required to provide a reason for cancellation.
Following notification of cancellation, goods must be returned within 14 days, unless otherwise agreed.
Statutory cancellation rights are subject to the exceptions permitted by applicable law.
2. Earrings, Jewellery and Hygiene
For hygiene and customer safety, we encourage customers to handle jewellery carefully when inspecting their purchases.
Certain products supplied in sealed packaging for genuine health protection or hygiene reasons may be exempt from statutory cancellation rights once the seal has been broken, where the relevant legal requirements are satisfied.
This exemption does not automatically apply to all earrings or jewellery.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, customers may inspect products as they reasonably would in a shop. We reserve the right to make lawful deductions for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Nothing in this section affects customers' statutory rights regarding faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products.
3. How to Return an Item
To arrange a return, please follow these steps:
Email info@stylishlondonlife.com with your order number and a clear statement of your request. For faulty or incorrect goods, please describe the issue.
We will provide the appropriate return instructions and confirm the designated returns address.
Package the item securely to minimise the risk of damage during transit.
Where exercising a statutory cancellation right, return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation.
We recommend using a tracked postal service and retaining proof of postage.
Important: Our registered office is used for company correspondence and is not a returns-processing facility. Please do not send returns to our registered office.
Customers will be provided with the applicable returns address and return arrangements before purchase, as required by law. Please contact us if you need those details again.
4. Return Shipping Costs
For change-of-mind cancellations, customers are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods, where this has been disclosed before purchase and applicable law permits.
Where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, we will meet our legal obligations regarding reasonable return costs.
Original delivery charges will be refunded where required by law, generally up to the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.
5. Refunds and Processing Times
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, refunds will include the purchase price and any applicable standard outbound delivery charges.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or satisfactory evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.
Where an order is cancelled before dispatch, refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed, without additional refund fees.
Your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account.
6. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
We take care to check and package our jewellery before dispatch.
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, please contact info@stylishlondonlife.com with your order details and a description of the issue.
Photographs may assist us in resolving your enquiry promptly but are not a condition of your statutory rights.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK customers may be entitled to a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction, depending on the circumstances.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected by any hygiene-related restrictions or change-of-mind returns conditions.
7. International Orders
Stylish London Life offers delivery to selected international destinations, including eligible European countries and the United States.
International customers may have mandatory cancellation, return and refund rights under the laws applicable in their country of residence.
Where applicable, these rights will be respected and will take precedence over any conflicting provision in this policy.
Customers are responsible for applicable change-of-mind return shipping costs where legally permitted and disclosed before purchase.
